Hello Falcons!
Our Falcon family would like to wish our school family a happy, healthy and safe Thanksgiving weekend. Week 13 had two school days, but they were very busy with activities, learning, and fun. Here are FIVE things to know this week:
- At our last school board meeting there was a discussion on the great work done by our staff, students, and families this school year. With all of the added stress this year we wanted to provide the gift of time as a way to give back.
- Our last day of school in 2021 will now be December 21st. December 22nd will now be a non-attendance day for all students and staff to get the winter break started a day earlier.
- Due to space and student availability, our winter concert will be moved to Wednesday December 15th. All times and location (Big Foot auditorium starting at 6p for 4k-3rd grade and 7p for 4-8th grade).
- Our Falcon students continue to learn and develop new technology skills in our library "Fab Lab". The picture this week shows students working in our computer design program before their projects come to life in the 3D printers. Our students and staff are equally excited to learn and grow in new technology.
- Our Mental Health/Wellness grant has provided opportunities for our staff, parents, and students to reflect on Wellness Wednesdays along with additional resources for nutrition, physical and emotional health. Please contact our office for more information.
Have a great extended fall break and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school recharged and ready to finish 2021 strong! Happy Thanksgiving and be well!
