Hello Falcons!!
Week 11 of the school brought our annual recognition and honoring of our Military for Veteran's Day. Thank you for your service to our Country to all Veteran's. We also got to see snow for the first time this fall! Yippee!! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
- With our first snow fall we wanted to let all Falcons know that if/when we have a snow day this year, it will in fact be a snow day with no school responsibilities. Your only job is to create a snow fort, snow man, or something fun outside!
- This Friday, November 19th, is an early release day and all students in 4k-8th grade will be dismissed at 11:20am.
- Fontana will be recognizing Red Ribbon Week this coming week. Our theme is "Happy Campers Make SMORE Good Choices", which will include fun activities, including dress up days. This Monday will be camping/comfy clothes. Red Ribbon Week is a time to learn and reflect on health/good choices for our wellness and health.
- This coming week marks the opening of our boys basketball season. Monday the boys will take on Reek, at Reek school, and Thursday will be our first home game against Walworth.
- Looking ahead, please note that our Thanksgiving week will include full school days on Monday and Tuesday (11/22 and 11/23) and our Thanksgiving break will start 11/24 with our return to school on Monday November 29th.
If you haven't seen the presentation put together by our 5th graders and choir, please check it out HERE. Have a great weekend Falcons, be well, and stay safe!!
