Hello Falcons!
As you know, our return to school plans are impacted by the continued protocols related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Fontana School community is eager to return to learning on September 1st and we can't wait to see our students/families again very soon. Our mission to be there for "Every Kid, Every Day, Whatever It Takes" drives our daily care for our school community. Here are FIVE things to know this week.
- Our School Spirit Store is open until Monday evening. The link is included. There is no better way to show your Falcon spirit than sporting some fresh gear! Your order will be labeled and set for easy delivery from our school office. https://www.bsnteamsports.com/shop/FonFall21
- Our open house for 4k/5k will be Thursday August 26th from 5-6pm. Bring your school supplies, learn about 4k/5k and meet your teachers. Dousman Bus will also be there to help with introductions and questions related to transportation.
- Our open house for the 1-8th grade will be Monday August 30th from 5-6:30p. Bring your supplies, meet your teacher, and learn about the new school year. Dousman Transportation will also be there to support any questions regarding transportation.
- Our regularly scheduled school board meeting is Monday August 23rd at Fontana School in the library. The meeting starts at 5:30p and we will be reviewing our return to school plans in addition to other important work our volunteer board takes on each month. The meeting will also be available on Zoom: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/7748...
Meeting ID: 774 8229 6937 Passcode: 88E1Aa - Our student database, Infinite Campus, is based on the registration and information entered each year. This is a good time to ensure that your email, phone, and parent contact within the Infinite Campus system is up to date. Our goal is to communicate and work in collaboration with our entire learning community. If you need anything or if you want further information about anything at Fontana School please do not hesitate to reach out to our office.
The beginning of a new school year is always a fun and exciting time for students and families. There is a lot of stress and differing opinions in our society recently, but there is one thing that we can all agree on, and that is to ensure our children have an engaging and safe learning environment every day. Grace, patience, and understanding cannot be overstated. Thank you and enjoy the final weeks of summer! #bettertogether
