Happy Friday Falcons!!!
The 10th week of summer allows us to celebrate international left handers day! Did you know that 10% of the population is left handed, including 8 former US Presidents. Here are FIVE things to know this week.
- On Friday, August 20th, our parking lot will be unavailable as it will be sealed and repainted for the start of the school year. Our main lobby/entrance will also be unavailable starting on Monday, August 16th for resurfacing of our flooring. Alternate entrances will be available to access our school office and building.
- The Boys and Girls Club in Delavan will be distributing free school supplies at Phoenix Middle School on August 18th. There is a LINK HERE for more details.
- A reminder for our back to school nights to meet your teacher and drop off school supplies. 4k/5k - August 26th from 5-6pm. The 1st-8th grade - August 30th from 5-6:30p.
- We are excited to offer a fall spirit wear sale on some fresh new Falcon Gear. The link to buy your Falcon Gear is HERE. The orders will deliver to Fontana with all families labeled for easy distribution. Who doesn't want/need new Falcon gear to kick off the new school year!
- Our student council will be joining forces with National Junior Honor Society this coming school year! We are excited to engage our middle school students in more leadership, community service, and extension opportunities. More information to come, but we couldn't hold in our excitement for more leadership work with our middle schoolers!
Our school has been a very busy place all summer with construction projects, paint, and staff working weekly on preparing for the school year. Enjoy the remaining summer days and we can't wait to see you all very soon!
