Update

Hello Falcons!

Happy 16th week on school.  We are down to our last two days before winter break!!  Our last two days of school in 2020 are Monday December 21st and Tuesday December 22nd.  We can't wait to see you all before winter break.  Here are FIVE things to know for this week:

  1. We have updated our website and included a new COVID resource page on our website.  Check out the new page and resources HERE, which includes a chart with our COVID numbers within the district.
  2. Crafty Critters, our established holiday tradition at Fontana, continued this week despite the pandemic!  Thanks to our PTSO, teachers, and dedicated community we will continue the great activities we have all grown to love and cherish over the years.  Thank you.
  3. Our music/band department have been working hard to create some music and holiday cheer this past month.  Be on the look out next week for some more time honored traditions, in a different format, but no less fun and holiday cheery! :)
  4. Based on parent/staff survey's and health department information, we will follow our successful plan of a virtual learning week after an extended holiday break.   Our virtual learning week will be January 4th through January 8th, 2021 and our return to in person learning date will be Monday, January 11th.  More details HERE.  Thank you to the 120 families that responded to the survey!!  Your voice is vital to our continued success.
  5. Please don't forget, if you have one of our WiFi hotspots from spring/summer, we are collecting those for a return by December 31st.  Please contact our office if you still have a hotspot that needs to be returned.  We can replace the old version with a new/upgraded hotspot if you continue to need WiFi support.

Stay well, be safe, and have a great weekend Falcons!  We are excited to continue our learning for two more days next week before our winter break.  See you Monday!
