Hello Falcons,
Our 13th week of school was virtual, just two days of school, but equally as rewarding. We have made strides to continually improve our in person and virtual learning while keeping our primary focus on the best for each student. Please be aware that there will be a few surveys coming out in the next week to ensure we have all voices accounted for in our planning for the remainder of 2020. Your feedback matters and we will do our best to keep each survey short and focused. Here are FIVE things to know this holiday weekend.
- Based on your feedback, we will be providing one weeks worth of reheatable meals on Tuesday December 1st. Please complete the short survey so we can plan for that meal pick-up HERE. Hot meals are provided for anyone 18 years old and younger from 10:30a to 12p at Walworth school during our virtual learning days as well.
- We have a COVID return to school updated document HERE. Please know we continue to work with the local health department, our BFASA partner schools, and the State of WI on best practices to keep our school community safe.
- Our COVID hotline to report any new COVID cases or required close contact quarantine is (608) 728-7851. This number will also send an email to our school nurse and administration for a timely response.
- We will have our plans for the week of December 7th finalized on, or before, 4:30p on Friday December 4th. We will continue to monitor our community COVID rates, staffing, and safety to ensure we use all available resources to make the best decisions. Be on the lookout for additional surveys for community feedback.
- Our Fontana 5th graders completed a virtual recognition for Veteran's Day and our entire school completed cards of gratitude to ensure we continue to recognize those that keep us safe and free. Thank you to all of our Veteran's!
Have a wonderful Holiday weekend Falcons. We look forward to another great week of virtual learning from November 30th through December 4th. Our planned return date for in person learning is December 7th. We will communicate as our final plans are developed this week. Enjoy your family, be well, and stay safe!
