Hello Falcons!!
Week 25 was busy with activities inside and outside the building. You may have noticed the blocks of snow outside, which is a project our middle school has taken on to snow sculpt as teams. We can't wait to see the results of their hard work, but they better hurry, the forecast is getting warmer!! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
Mr. Smith took our middle school choir students to the Rock Valley Conference Choral Workshop in Evansville this week. What a great opportunity to learn and expand their network with students from all over our region.
Our 2nd and 3rd grade students took an amazing trip to Madison to see Cinderella. They were then met with a pizza party and good times upon return to school.
Don't forget, our Science Fair is this Thursday, February 27th at Fontana School. We have a school full of students hard work, STEAM community partners, and a fundraiser to help our students going to Outdoor Education this year. See you there!!
This is our last week to collect cereal for our competition. We have over 250 boxes toward our goal to exceed 400 boxes this month! Don't forget to bring you cereal in this week and all the cereal collected will be donated to local food pantries. After we make our cool domino video of course!!
For winter weather, please remember that all grades will go outside as long as the "feels like" temperature is at least 0 degrees. Please have your Falcon dressed for outside and let us know if you need any winter weather clothing. Our social worker, Ms. C, has gloves, coats and more if you are needing anything.
PTSO Spotlight--It’s not too late to sign up to join us for Winterfest on Sunday, March 2nd from 12pm-4pm at Delavan Lanes. There will be bowling, food, raffles and fun!! https://signup.com/go/kPZxLtB
Have a great weekend Falcons and see you Monday!
