Hello Falcons!!
Week 18 was busy getting our school and daycare moved, deep cleaned, and ready for the new year!! Happy 2025 Falcons. Here are FIVE things to know this week:
Each year our health office partners with the Lion's Club to perform vision screening for each student at Fontana. Our local Lion's take time out of their own busy schedules to volunteer at our school to ensure we can vision screen annually! Thank you to Mrs. Lohse and Mrs. Booth for helping to coordinate this great partnership!
Our winter break is done this week and our first day back to school is this coming Monday, January 6th. We can't wait to welcome back all of our Falcons this coming Monday!
Our middle school will have a busy week upon return. We have our math meet for those attending along with our first meeting with Big Foot High School for the 8th grade transition to 9th grade!! It's full speed ahead in January!
We are excited to welcome back Ms. Torres in 2nd grade and Ms. Paulsen will now move to 3rd grade to cover for Mrs. Miller's class as of January 6th. Also, we are thankful for Mrs. Peggy Rasmussen for helping in 3rd grade the final two weeks before break!
Looking ahead, the week of January 13th is our annual Kindness week! More to come, but mark your calendars!
PTSO Spotlight--Thank you to our amazing PTSO for a successful 2024 and we look forward to our great activities already planned in 2025, such as hot chocolate Friday's in February!!
Have a great remainder of your break Falcons and see you Monday!!
