Hello Falcons!!
Week 6 of our school year included fire prevention week. We are grateful to our EMS, Fire, and police that keep us safe each day. Our community is fortunate to have caring and supportive services each and every day!! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
Our middle and elementary students were able to learn, interact, and participate in fire prevention week with the Fontana FD. Thank you Fontana FD for your continued support and generous time you give to our community!
Our parent/teacher conferences are this coming week. October 17th from 4-8p and October 18th from 12-4p. Our goal each each year is to connect with 100% of our families during this time. Our school/parent partnership is a top priority at Fontana and we look forward to seeing you this week.
Reminder--Friday, October 18th is our first early release day. Please note our early release time is slightly different than in years past. Our release time is 11:45a for all 4k-8th grade students.
Mark your calendars--Our 3rd annual Talent Show will be on Friday November 15th at 6PM in the Fontana gym.
Our 4k/5k students had a wonderful field trip this past week exploring the apple orchard! Other learning opportunities happening at Fontana include our FLL robotics league, volleyball, film club and so much more!
PTSO Spotlight--The Cultural Arts Committee is meeting next Wednesday, October 16th at 8:30am at the Coffee Mill. Join us to learn how you can help with upcoming events! Hope to see you there!
PTSO Spotlight 2--Donations for the classroom raffle baskets for Fall Fun Fest are due next Wednesday, October 16th. All donations will be displayed in the school library starting October 18th for the silent auction. students can purchase raffle tickets in the library for $1 each or 6 for $5.
PTSO Spotlight 3--Fall Fun Fest is Thursday, October 24th. We still need volunteers for Fall Fun Fest. Sign up today!
