Hello Falcons!
Week 3 of the school year still had that summer feeling, nearly hitting 90 degrees on multiple days! Thank you to our Fontana Fire Department for their support and partnership as we plan and complete our fire drills this school year. Here are FIVE things to know this week:

Attention all 3-8th grade girls and boys interested in playing basketball this fall/winter. The Big Foot Basketball Club (BFBC) is a local club that offers games and practices for all skill levels interested. It's a great way to get introduced and expand your basketball skills! LINK HERE to register and you can find out more on the Big Foot Recreation website.
Our band and school is getting excited for the Big Foot Homecoming Parade coming up soon! Don't miss the Big Foot Homecoming parade coming on Friday, October 4th along the Walworth square.
It's that time of year again! Fontana will soon be choosing the next design for the student directory and yearbook. Many students have started this at school, but students that devote time at home usually get chosen. Designs can be made on a white sheet of printer in the portrait style, or the tall way. Students should focus only on illustrations. They do not need to attempt to write out Fontana, School, Directory, etc. The publishing company does the title. Designs must be submitted by September 30th. Good luck!
This coming week we have exciting activities including--9/24 is Picture Day, 9/26 7th grade is going to Yerkes, and 9/27 is Loved Ones Lunch (sign up sheets sent home). See you this week Falcons and don't forget your fanciest outfit for Tuesday 9/24 Picture Day!

· Student Bubble forms and payment for the Student Directory are due September 27th
