Hello Falcons!!
The moment we have all been waiting for...The first day of school is upon us! We can't wait to see all of our students for the first day of school this Tuesday, September 3rd! We hope your summer was amazing and we can't wait to welcome our Falcons back for another awesome school year! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
Our construction partners this summer, CCI, and our Fontana staff have done a great job trying to get our new main office up and running before the start of school! We have been able to accomplish most of that and you will all see Mrs. Ziganto's smiling face in the new office as you enter school on Tuesday. For all visitors, please notice that our new office door is directly to your right (in the brick) as you pass through the entry doors.
CCI was also generous enough to donate some school supplies to help our school and families before the school year begins. Thank you and if your Falcon is in need of any school supplies, please reach out to Ms. C, our social worker, for assistance.
Calling all movie makers!! As the school year begins next week, we are excited to start Film Club as well! 6th through 8th grade students who are interested in appearing in the movie
Super Falcon
should plan on attending an audition and informational meeting Friday, September 6th after school in the art room. Film Club forms will be available from Mr. McCanna this week. Kindergarten through 5th grade students can sign up for film club, and do not need to audition. Lights, camera, ACTION!
Dates to know: September 3rd is the first day of school. September 24th is picture day!! Don't forget, you can access our school events and calendar on the website. LINK HERE.

PTSO Spotlight--Thank you to those who supported the Fontana PTSO at Meggy Moo's on Thursday after Back-to-School Night. Next up, please gather some friends and meet up at the Coffee Mill on September 3rd after morning drop off for our annual Boo Hoo / Whoo Hoo event and attend our first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 4th at 7pm in the school library.
Also, mark your calendars and stay tuned for details about upcoming events including Loved Ones Lunch on Friday, September 27th, our annual Golf Outing on Sunday, September 29th and Fall Fun Fest on Thursday, October 24th. Enjoy this last weekend of summer!
