Hello Falcons!!
The count down to the 24/25 school year is getting down to single digits before we return to school! We can't wait to have our students and families back very soon! Here are FIVE things to know this final week of summer break:
Thank you to all of our families for registering and preparing for the new school year. As a reminder, you can also pay all of your school fees online in your Infinite Campus portal (where you registered). For all 4k-5th grade families, you can also pay for milk break online, if your Falcon will get milk during snack, and that can be paid in the "optional fee" section in your Infinite Campus portal. Please contact our office with any questions.
If you have any school supply needs, please reach out to our school social worker Ms. Christensen, and we can ensure your Falcon has all the school supplies they need to start the new school year. Her email is nchristensen@fontana.k12.wi.us
Fontana is focused on wellness and overall self-care for our staff, students, and families. We offer Wellness Wednesday events, our annual Walk for Wellness in May and our middle school has a Hope Squad among many other wellness programming. LINK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION AND RESOURCES IN OUR AREA
Our important dates coming up are as follows:
August 27th from 5-6:30p we have our 4k/5k open house. This offers our youngest Falcons an opportunity to meet their teacher, explore their classroom, and ride the school bus among other fun activities. You can drop off supplies that evening as well.
August 29th from 5-6:30p is our 1st - 8th grade open house to meet teachers, catch up with friends, and drop off supplies.
September 3rd is our first day of school!! Our doors open at 8a and school starts at 8:15a. Dismissal is 3:30p each day. Can't wait to see you there!
Our main office will be moving to start this school year to the front of the building. The contractors are doing their best to finish before our first day of school, but there may be some finishing work being done in the next two weeks. Please be patient as we work through our new entrance processes. You will see the brick wall upon entering will have the new main office entrance. We can't wait to provide our community the new, updated, and safe/secure entrance for the upcoming school year.
PTSO Spotlight--Please see the attached flyer for upcoming events and be sure to mark your calendar. The PTSO and Cultural Arts Committee are two excellent opportunities to get involved at school. They say it takes a village to raise children... The same is true for the PTSO! We need your help! To learn more, join us at an upcoming meeting.
