Hello Falcons!
Week 36 was filled with more field trips, concerts, and our annual walk for wellness. May is mental health awareness month and self-care is vital! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
Our 4k enjoyed their annual trip to Green Meadows Farm. So fun to have parents, staff, and students out enjoying the animals and farm.
The 3rd Annual Falcons Walk for Wellness was another huge success. We have collected over $2000 toward mental health support through Bigger Than the Trail and we will collect donations through next Monday! We had our entire school participate this year and we had an amazing time bringing awareness to the importance of mental health.
Thank you to the local mental health agencies that attend our walk today including Walworth County Health, CA Counseling, Dr. Amy Sosa, and CESA 2. Fontana School is also fortunate to partner with Managed Wellness, Irene Corzo and Associates, and Natasha Schultz (nutrition coaching).
Next Friday, May 24th, is an early release day. All students will be released at 11:20a for staff professional development.
Our band students will be attending Beyond the Note at the Kalahari on the 24th and 25th. They have a great opportunity to perform at a large venue while also having fun!
BONUS--Our final school dance of the year is tonight! We are excited to offer the 5th grade students an opportunity to attend and enjoy their first dance before officially becoming middle school students next year!
BONUS2--Thank you to our Hope Squad for putting together a great week of awareness, fun and prizes.
Have a great weekend Falcons and see you Monday!
