Hello Falcons!!
Our week 27 was busy with many evening events, field trips, and community activities. One of the very special things about Fontana is the community working together for the betterment of our youth. It's not a poster on a wall, it's continuous action by all stakeholders! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
- Thank you so much to Margaret Reuland and the Centennial Celebration Fontana WI for sponsoring a fun poster contest activity. Our students created posters outlining 100 years of Fontana and the winners were given the new book "Finding Fontana". Such a fun addition to our Fine Arts Night.
- Thank you to Mr. McCanna, Mr. Smith, and Ms Jacoby for planning and creating a special evening for Fine Arts Night. Also, thank you to our PTSO for your help in displaying artwork and for the continuous support of the arts at Fontana School! So much fun watching different instruments and creativity displayed by the students throughout the school.
- Thank you to Lake Geneva Lyric Opera for sponsoring our 7th grade field trip to Chicago this week. Our 7th graders took a train ride and experienced the Chicago Lyric Opera this past week. Such a great cultural opportunity.
- Reminder--This is our final week before spring break. We are off the week of March 25th for spring break. We return to school on Monday, April 1st.
- Klay Kong and the movie premier was able to raise nearly $400 that will go right back into our movie making projects, both current, and in the future. We can't thank our school community enough for all the positive feedback and support. We are working on ways to continue to share this wonderful project with our families and community. Keep checking back for updates.
Have a great weekend Falcons and we will see you Monday!
