Hello Falcons!!
Week 22 seemed more like week 32 with how warm it was!! Our school year is moving right along and our students and staff continue to work hard to learn, grow, and improve each day! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
- Fontana Elementary is excited to bring back Forensics this year for students. Thank you to our coaches Ms. Jacoby, Ms. Fuentes, and Mrs. Jackson for taking this on for 2024. Forensics provides elementary students with a platform to practice public speaking, preparing, and talking to larger groups. More information and sign-up sheet HERE.
- This Wednesday, February 14th our photography company, Lifetouch, will be at school to take classroom/group photos. This will take place in the morning on 2/14/24 so you can have your Falcon photogenic that morning to take a photo with their classmates.
- Our amazing PTSO will be moving up the traditional teacher appreciate week from May to this coming week. What a great way to break up the winter months with celebration, gratitude, and recognition of our wonderful, hardworking staff. We have a student first lens each day, but this week we will be sure to shed a light on all of the unseen hours and work done by our Falcon Staff. Thank you to all of our volunteers, supports, and staff to make this week a great celebration.
- REMINDER--This Friday, February 16th is a non-attendance day for both students and staff. Please enjoy the three day weekend!!
- Congratulations to our girls basketball team as they have their final game of the season this Saturday, February 10th against Sharon. This will be for the championship. The girls, coaches, and parents have worked so hard this season and we wish them well on their final game!! Go Falcons!!
Have a great weekend Falcons and see you Monday!
